Mya's Boudoir in Progress

Over the weekend we made quite a bit of progress with Mya's nursery. I can't remember if I shared this but we decided to turn our former bedroom into her nursery and we've moved downstairs. I was a bit anxious about not being on the same floor as the kids but it has worked out well so far. My biggest peace of mind comes from the video monitor in each of their rooms. We promise to take the cameras out by the time puberty hits.

Alex spent most of his weekend painting her walls "Earth Happiness" and the trim "Liz Cream". After stalking Craigslist all weekend we finally found a nice crib and changing table. It's a lovely white solid wood set from Pali. Yes, I did check for recalls. Everything is starting to come together and I'm really pleased with the outcome. We still have walls to decorate and some other small details. I'll post some final pics once the room is complete but here is a sneak peek from some photos I took while we were introducing Mya to her crib as well as Max's exploration today. He's a fan.

Cute! And can I say that I love when I see something on Max that one of my boys wore. Makes me happy!

Happens often enough, that's for sure!
