Scene: Afternoon. Max and Mya are both in their cribs in their separate bedrooms. Mya is asleep. Max chucks something across his room, making a loud noise, waking Mya who sits up in her crib and begins to cry. I have turned on the monitor at this point and watch the following scene play out....
Max (laying down in crib): "Shhh! Mya, it's okay. I'm right here."
Silence follows then Mya starts to fuss again.
Max holds his finger to his lips: "Shhh! Mya, I'm sleeping!"
For the record, she never did get back to sleep.
